Gracie Reichman was crowned Miss Louisiana’s Outstanding Teen 2018, on April 8 of this year. The competition featured 24 teens from across the state of Louisiana. Gracie captured the group talent award, performing a contemporary clogging routine to “Let’s Get Loud”. As a result of winning the title, she will receive $5000 in cash awards and scholarships, along with in-kind scholarships. She will go on to compete for the title of Miss America’s Outstanding Teen this July in Orlando, Florida, and a chance to win over $30,000 in scholarship assistance.

Gracie is the 17 year old daughter of Jim and Edna Reichman of Colfax, Louisiana. She is a 17 year old junior at Holy Savior Menard Central High School in Alexandria, Louisiana, where she is a member of the BETA club, dance line and softball team. Gracie plans to continue to promote her personal platform of “Think Twice, Be Nice”, which deals with bullying and the platform of Miss Louisiana’s Outstanding Teen, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, during her reign. Gracie hopes to use her scholarship winnings to become a physical therapist, specializing in sports physical therapy.
